Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration releases worldwide on September 16, 2026, marking the first simultaneous global release for a Pokémon TCG expansion. No regional delays. No waiting behind Japan. Every collector in every country gets their shot on the same day.
The expansion features more than 160 cards, all with foil treatments, including the debut of the new Futuristic Rare rarity.
What Makes 30th Celebration Different
Every card is foil. Every single card in the 30th Celebration expansion features a foil treatment — including Basic Energy cards. There are no non-foil cards in the set.
30th Celebration booster packs aren't being released as a standard standalone booster-pack product. Instead, they're included inside the special products in the lineup.
Each pack contains 5 foil cards, not 10. Every 30th Celebration booster pack contains five foil cards — including one of 30 unique Pikachu illustrations guaranteed per pack — plus one foil Basic Energy card and one Pokémon TCG Live code card.
Pokémon TCG Live receives the set on September 15, 2026 — one day before the physical release.
What's Inside the Set
30 Pikachu rare cards — one guaranteed per pack, each featuring a unique illustration of Pikachu from across the franchise's 30-year history. Collecting all 30 is the central chase for casual collectors.
Featured Pokémon — confirmed from official product descriptions: Mewtwo ex, Mew ex, Umbreon ex, Salamence ex, and Greninja ex appear in the expansion alongside a host of allies and Pikachu rare variants.
Futuristic Rare — a brand-new rarity debuting in 30th Celebration, confirmed by official Pokémon.com coverage. The Futuristic Rare cards feature Mewtwo and Mew illustrated by Japanese artist YOSHIROTTEN, who was interviewed on Pokémon.com on August 18, 2026 specifically about his work on this set.
Classic Collection — a special subset of iconic Pokémon TCG reprints. Unlike the regular 30th Celebration booster packs, the Classic Collection has its own dedicated three-card booster pack. The Ultra-Premium Collection includes one Classic Collection booster pack, guaranteeing three cards from this special subset.
