Touch, watch and join the game!

Discover a new way to interact with your favorite Nintendo character. When you touch the NFC touch point on the Wii U GamePad, Joy-Con, the bottom of the New Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL handhelds, or the special device for older Nintendo 3DS handhelds while playing a game, data is transferred to the game, which you can use in a variety of ways. In addition, when you play some games, the data in your character will be further written, so you can create truly unique amiibo figures.

Compatibility with New Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 3DS/2DS

Amiibo figures can also be used when playing on handheld consoles! New Nintendo 3DS has built-in NFC technology, which allows you to connect an amiibo figure to the game by simply touching it to the bottom touch screen. Special accessories can be purchased for use with Nintendo 3DS and 2DS.
