Explore the Hyrulean wilderness at your leisure – Climb towers and mountaintops, discover new locations, then find your own path and head out into the wilderness to reach your goal. Along the way, you’ll battle giant enemies, hunt wildlife, and gather ingredients to craft the food and potions you’ll need to stay energized on your quest.
Discover and explore over 100 Shrines of Trials – There are shrines scattered throughout the land, waiting to be discovered in any order you choose. Use a variety of methods to find them and solve all the puzzles within. Deal with traps and various devices within to earn special items and other rewards to aid you on your adventure.
Be prepared and well-equipped – The world is waiting to be explored, so you’ll need a variety of outfits and gear to get to all corners of it. You may need to bundle up in warmer clothing or change into something more suited to the desert heat. Some outfits even have special effects that will help you move faster or more quietly.
Enemy battles require strategy – The world is populated by enemies of all shapes and sizes. Each has its own weapon and attack style, so you’ll need to be able to think quickly and come up with the right strategy to help you defeat them.
Amiibo compatibility – Connect the Wolf Link amiibo (sold separately) to the game and Wolf Link will appear. Wolf Link will attack enemies on his own and help you find the items you’re looking for. A new collection of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild figurines will also be unveiled at E3 this year.
